Uneeda Burger has great burgers! So great in fact that when I took a bite into my Big Star Burger it was pretty identical to my favourite burger joint in Central District, Feed Co. Burger.
I later looked it up and realized that both Uneeda Burger and Feed Co. Burger was owned and operated by the the Staple Restaurant Group (now wonder!).
Similar menu with different names and slightly different prices. But that might have changed. I do proclaim that Feed Co. Burger my favourite burger joint in Central District and Uneeda Burger is the same over in Fremont.
Just know that what you order you're probably not going to regret and make sure you got plenty of napkins! -

Overall: Fantastic burgers albeit a little too pricey for the more "deluxe" options
The good: Fantastic tasting burgers. Juicy, oozing with flavor, and topped with delicious bacon and cheese (if you get it). The menu is well varied and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The cheese curds were great as well, fluffy and filled with goodness. Plus, they have beer!
The not-so-good: I love sweet potato fries, but these had some odd aftertaste that is hard to describe, but they tasted almost chemical-like. The food took a little while to come out, and the bison burger that we got was $14. Compared to the rest of the burgers it was pretty insane (there were a few other burgers at that price as well).
Food/drink:9/10
Atmosphere: 9/10
Service: 8/10 -

After being let down more than once by Seattle's more acclaimed fancy food places, a simple burger from Uneeda Burger was all weneeded.
Most places serve either plain jane burgers or more higher-end gourmet ones. What I really liked about Uneeda Burger was that they offered a mix of no-frills and fancy burgers.
You can go for just a burger with their Classic ($5.50), which is exactly what it sounds like - patty, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, pickles. They do offer add-ons like cheese, eggs, bacon etc. Or you can go for a higher-end burger like their Big Bison Burger ($15), a bison patty w/ red onion jam, bacon, beecher's cheddar.
For myself, I had the Mushroom Burger ($9.50). At first I was considering other burgers cause I thought it'd be a mushroom patty in lieu of an actual beef patty, BUT NO. It's beef + a truckload of mushrooms and flavor! They used crimini & porcini mushrooms, black truffle salt, gruyere, and shallots. Yes, it was a super rich burger, and just what I needed.
After a long day of seeing weird things and eating weird things, Uneeda Burger was the perfect comfort food burger place for us. It's located in Fremont, close to the Fremont troll (half a mile away), so if you wanna see more weird stuff, it's just down the street! -

Trendy burger joint in a trendy neighborhood.
THE ROSES: Tasty burgers. Very juicy. Rustic, airy space. Good service. Nicely priced beers, and a good selection of same.
THE THORNS: Pricing seems a bit steep for some offerings. My special, an Elk burger, as $15 for a burger.
That's it, JUST a burger.
Want fries or onion rings? That's extra. What was also disappointing was that if you didn't tell me it was an Elk, I would've just assumed it was a nice, juicy beef burger. I've eaten more elk than most (thanks to having parents who were avid elk hunters), and I definitely missed that robust, 'gamey' elk taste. I have no complaints with the execution of the burger itself, I just question whether it's worth the tariff.
TOP TIP: UB offers a 'Basic Burger' for $5.50 . I'd go with that, and take a pass on the spendy 'premium' burgers.
VERDICT: Trendy burger joint makes a good burger, but may find itself challenged in justifying the prices of it's premium offerings.
Neutral: neither recommend nor discourage. -

This place can get PACKED! Everyone was hungry at dinner time, that people were rushing and trying to beat each other to a table. There's no real system, kind of just stand by people who are almost done eating and swoop it. You order at the counter and are given a number. From there on, you're on your own. It honestly wasn't too bad, but there are some folks who will cut right in front or behind you to grab a spot, which is something I had experienced anywhere before.
On to the food, I ordered the Blue Onion burger, which was slathered with blue cheese. It was delicious, especially with the arugula. The patty was super juicy and brioche bun nicely warmed. I ordered a side of onion rings, deep fried cauliflower, and a marionberry milkshake. The onion rings were very crunchy, but HUGE. They were so good with the garlic aioli dipping sauce I got on the side (.25 cents). The deep fried cauliflower although very simple, was also very good. The crunchy outside with the soft cauliflower and garlic aioli was a nice bite in between munching on the burger and sipping on my sweet, thick milkshake!
